Hive Queen (0 FP)
In need of an army, the Low King created creatures that could spawn the ultimate replaceable troops.
Hight: 5 ft.
Weight: 3,000 lb.
Environment: Shaitan
Population: Majority
Speed: 10 ft.
Unarmed Dice: 1d2
Spawn Hive (2 FP): A Hive Queen is but the cornerstone of a multi-bodied organism that composes their consciousness. This central body may produce specialized secondary bodies to act as their limbs in the outside world.
Over an hour, they can gestate a secondary body within their central body, after which they may harmlessly birth the secondary body as twelve actions. The secondary body functions as a new creature with its own actions, but shares their awareness as one entity. It also shares all their Features, except for this one.
They can create as many secondary bodies as they wish, but must allocate a number of Hit Points to the secondary body when they begin gestating it. The secondary body has maximum Hit Points equal to the amount they allocate, and their own maximum Hit Points are reduced by the same number.
They cannot reduce their own Hit Points below, or create a secondary body with less than, the maximum number that would result in them falling unconscious from 1 damage. For example, if they had the Fragile Feature, they could not create a secondary body with less than two Hit Points or have less than two Hit Points themselves.
If a secondary body dies, they must regain the vitality allocated to it over time. Each full rest after it’s death, their maximum Hit Points will increase by 1, until the Hit Points allocated in the dead secondary body are completely returned.
If their central body is ever slain, a secondary body of their choice will metamorphosis into their new central body during their next full rest.
Regenerative (1 FP): Whenever a Hive Queen finishes a full rest, they gain a number of Hit Points back equal to their Bad Ass. When they return to maximum Hit Points, their body is healed of all injuries, leaving no scars or other blemishes.
For 1 additional FP, they add 1d6 to the regained Hit Points every full rest.
Interspatial Metabolism (0 FP): Hive Queens share bodily resources between their many bodies. This lets them sustain all their bodies as long as any of their bodies ingests enough food, water and air to supply the others.
However, any toxin, pathogen or similar effect affecting one of their bodies affects all of their bodies. If the effect can be resisted by a Check, and the body affected is not their central body, the central body may make the Check twice and use the highest result. If the central body succeeds, it is not affected, even if the first Check failed and allowed all secondary bodies to be affected.
Proxy Mate (0 FP): A Hive Queen does not have the ability to mate using their central body. Instead, when a secondary body would be inseminated by a viable mate, a new Hive Queen begins gestating in their central body. This offspring is born an hour later, and will reach maturity in 24 years.
Specialized Drone (Varies): When a Hive Queen’s central body eats a dead creature, they learn how to replicate its Features when creating their secondary bodies. When gestating a secondary body, they can choose any arrangement of Features with total FP equal to or less than the FP spent on this Feature. Any amount of FP can be spent on this Feature.
They may also choose the anatomy of their secondary bodies, giving them the appearance of any creature they have eaten. This is not sufficient to create a secondary body that can pass for a specific creature, but does allow them to pass off their secondary bodies as specific species.
If they have eaten a creature that can communicate, they can make secondary bodies without the Mute Feature as if giving them a 3 FP Feature. Eating creatures with Immortality does not allow them to learn new Features from those creatures.
Mute (-3 FP): Hive Queens have no way to communicate with other creatures.
