Immortal (0 FP)

At the end, only the Immortal will laugh.

Height: Any

Weight: Any

Speed: 10 ft.

Unarmed Dice: 1d2

Immortality (20 FP): Immortals continue to regain Hit Points and consciousness as if only unconscious, no matter what happens to their body.

This makes them immune to Kill Checks. Effects that would return Hit Points, including Features that do so without them needing to be conscious, still return Hit Points and will result in them regaining consciousness.

Timeless (0 FP): Immortals do not age no matter how much time passes.

Value Of Life (-8 FP): Immortals are incapable of taking actions to knowingly and directly harm others. This includes taking Attack Actions, but also prevents more complex actions that are clearly intended to cause harm.

For 2 additional FP, they can harm creatures that have already caused damage to them. They still cannot make Kill Checks, unless the Kill Check is for a goal other than the lasting death of the creature.

For another 2 additional FP, they can make Kill Checks against creatures that have caused them damage, even to permanently end the creature’s life.

It’s Dramatic (-12 FP): All damage an Immortal takes is doubled twice.

Optional Features

Immortal Vitality (12 FP): Immortals regain one Hit Point every Turn, without the need to spend actions. Once they have returned to their maximum Hit Points, their physical body will return to a flawless state, re-growing lost limbs and undoing all injuries without scars.

Undying One (6 FP): All damage the Immortal takes is halved, rounded down. This Feature can be taken repeatedly, its effects stacking upon themselves.

Curse Of Eternity (0 FP): The Immortal’s unending existence is a curse, one that seeks to spread to all life. When they kill a creature with their Unarmed Attack, the creature returns to life 3 days later with the Immortal clan.

Essence Manifestation (0 FP): The Immortal is not a living creature, but instead a soul manifesting its essence into an amorphous body mimicking flesh. Due to this, when they return to maximum Hit Points, their body is healed of all injuries, leaving no scars or other blemishes.

For 2 additional FP, they can take an action to change their manifested body into any form they wish.

They take on the form, Height and Weight of anything they change into, but do not gain any Features or other mechanical changes.

Eternal Blood (0 FP): The Immortal’s ever lasting blood is all too willing to accept a new host until the end of time. When their blood is ingested by, or similarly enters the body of, a creature, that creature gains a corruption.

For the next 12 hours, the creature regains one Hit Point each hour. Once it is returned to its maximum Hit Points, its physical body will return to a flawless state, re-growing lost limbs and undoing all injuries without scars.

For one day per their Smart Ass, the corruption remains within the creature and it cannot benefit from this Feature’s healing effect again until the corruption has dispersed. If the creature dies while under this corruption, it returns to life 1d6 hours later with all base Features of the Immortal clan. Immortals gain no effects from this Feature.

Will Of The Slayer Of Death (-4 FP): The Immortals created by the influence of the Slayer Of Death share their creator’s vision of a world without death, feeling instinctual revulsion at the idea of any creature’s existence ending.

Due to this, they wish to prevent death and render as many creatures as possible immune to death. This means they must always have a degree of their personal goals be based around these desires.

If the Game Master rules that the player is not following this behavior, the Game Master takes control of the character until this is corrected. Creatures immune to mental tampering cannot have this Feature.

For 2 additional FP, they develop resistance to the Slayer Of Death’s influence, being capable of resisting the compulsion to prevent deaths. They must still render creatures immune to death.

Bane (-10 FP): Despite being otherwise unkillable, the Immortal has a specific condition, method or item that allows Kill Checks to be made on them despite the effects of the Immortality Feature.

This might involve slaying them with a blessed silver blade, subjecting them to glowing green space rocks or cutting their hair first. Whatever it is, when the conditions are met, the Immortality Feature does not apply.

The Game Master may adjust the FP cost of this Feature depending on how hard it is to meet the condition. This partially negates the Immortality Feature.

Koschei (-10 FP): The Immortal’s soul is bound to a physical object that can be destroyed. If the object is destroyed, they loose the benefits of the Immortality Feature.
