Dark Young (29 FP)

The servitors of the Black Goat, Dark Young are unworldly embodiments of fecundity.

Height: 10 ft.

Weight: 2,000 lb.

Environment: Any

Population: Anomaly

Speed: 10 ft.

Unarmed Dice: 1d2

Goat’s Hunger (12 FP): While the influence of the Black Goat can warp nothing into substance to fuel the flesh, fuel for the flesh can be sacrificed to strengthen the Black Goat’s influence.

Each time a Dark Young eat a day’s worth of food, they gain a Metabolism Point (MP). A days worth of food is at Game Master discretion, but should be based on how much food they would need without the Unworldly Metabolism Feature.

They regain one Hit Point per MP they possess every turn, without the need to spend actions. When they return to maximum Hit Points, their body is healed of all injuries, leaving no scars or other blemishes.

Each full rest, they loose 1 MP and birth an offspring. The offspring is born with all base Features of the Outer Changeling clan.

Fecund Flesh (10 FP): Dark Young are manifestations of the Black Goat’s influence, their flesh infused with a persistent and unyielding will of life. Unless their body is burned to nothingness or similarly destroyed in a manner that leaves no living cells, they are never truly dead.

Instead, they are only mechanically treated as unconscious, Kill Checks having no effect. Effects that would return Hit Points, including Features that do so without them needing to be conscious, still return Hit Points and will result in them regaining consciousness.

Unworldly Metabolism (5 FP): Dark Young are not creatures of reality, their bodies not subject to the natural laws that restrain native organisms. They don’t need to eat or sleep, but can meditate for an hour to gain the effects of a full rest. They aren’t affected by toxins, pathogens or similar ailments. Likewise, they are immune to Features that would rely on biological reactions.

Beyond Creation’s Light (4 FP): Dark Young are beyond reality, alien to that which is eternally lost to them. Whenever a creature other than them tries to observe the contents or structure of their mind, the creature fails to understand what they are observing, beyond a general since of the incomprehensible non-existence beyond. After the contact has ended, the creature remembers nothing about the experience except for the vague emotional trauma resulting from it.

In addition, if a perceived environment is within their mind, or formed from it, that environment is completely subject to their will at all times, even if the effect causing it to exist would not otherwise allow thus.

This unknowable nature renders them immune to effects that would alter, control or similarly tamper with their minds. Because of this, their souls cannot be harmed or destroyed.

If they are ever destroyed in a reality, they still remain intact beyond and may be summoned back into a reality, whether the same one or not.

Spawn (1 FP): When birthing an offspring each full rest, the Dark Young can expend more MP than the 1 MP usually lost. If they do, the offspring gains an arrangement of Features chosen by them with a total FP cost equal to the extra MP expended.

In addition, they can swallow whole an unconscious, willing or similarly immobile creature under half their current size. After four turns inside them, they can choose to birth the creature in a new form as three actions.

The reborn creature has an appearance and anatomy of their choice, and they can give it any arrangement of Features by expending MP equal to the total FP of all Features chosen. The creature must have sufficient FP for the chosen Features.

Fecund Adaptation (0 FP): Although alien in appearance and anatomy, Dark Young possess a minor degree of shapeshifting that allows them to accommodate the reproductive cycle of any creature capable of sexual reproduction. This allows them to produce viable offspring with any such creature.

For 2 additional FP, they can take an action to take on any appearance they wish. They take on the form, Height and Weight of anything they change into, but do not gain any Features or other mechanical changes.

Timeless (0 FP): Dark Young do not age no matter how much time passes.

Unnatural Appeal (0 FP): Any creature physically capable of producing offspring with the Dark Young that comes within 10 ft. per Smart Ass of them is passively altered to become sexually attracted to them. This does not otherwise change the creature’s sexual preferences, but instead adds the specific Dark Young to the creature’s sexual instincts.

The creature is not compelled to act upon this attraction and they do not gain any advantage beyond what would be expected from matching the creature’s sexuality. This functions through minor shapeshifting, and can effect creatures with minds and souls immune to outside tampering.

Unworldly Nature (0 FP): Dark Young do not exist within any reality, but can be drawn into any reality because of it. Even when they have no presence within a reality, they can be manifested through the use of the Black Goat’s influence.

This can happen as a byproduct of large accumulations of the Black Goat’s influence, growing to the point they can manifest.

Alternatively, the influence of the Black Goat can be manipulated to deliberately call a Dark Young into reality. The method used to achieve this varies, and is mostly up to Game Master discretion.

This Feature allows them to return after being burned from existence by Creation’s Light, even if at a lower level.

Unworldly Libido (-1 FP): Dark Young are manifestations of the Black Goat’s influence, fecundity being an intrinsic aspect of their being.

Any Check made to play on their sexual instincts, such as attempts to arouse or seduce, has its result increased by 1d4.

Optional Features

Daughter Of the Black Goat (10 FP): The Dark Young is completely immune to Kill Checks, even if completely destroyed. This is treated as an Immortality Feature and alters the Fecund Flesh Feature.

They can choose to spend 42 MP to birth an avatar of the Black Goat, born with 12 FP and Champion Features of the Black Goat’s choice.
